Lava lamp how to make

What you need
An empty juice bottle
Water
Oil
Red food colouring liquid

How to make
Fill 1/3rd of the juice bottle with water. Fill up the remaining bottle with oil. Let the water and oil separate and settle. Add a few drops of red food colouring liquid. Wait for the water to get the red colour.
Now add drop pieces of any tablet into the juice bottle that would effervescence when put in water such as aspro clear tablet. Due to the bubbling nature of the tablet, the red bubbles can be seen moving in the juice bottle making a replica of a lava lamp.

Chalk Painting

What you need

Coloured chalks

How to make

Put the chalks in a zip lock bag and smash it so that it becomes powdery.
Place the powdered chalks in separate containers and mix it with some water until it becomes a paint consistency. Chalk paint is ready for use.
Use a brush and let your kids imagination be painted.

Marble race track - how to make

A fun way of making a marble track to keep your kids occupied  and enjoy

What you need:

A few toilet rolls
A basket
Some marbles




How to make:

Cut the toilet rolls into halves lengthwise and stick it on the wall in a pattern so that when you place the marble it slides around all the cut rolls and falls into a basket at the end. Your marble race track is ready.
You can also add some fancy stuff in between the tracks however you wish.

Kid's shop out Bag - how to make

What you need:

Hessian material (similar to Gunny bag)
Thick needle with big holes
Satin ribbon
Yarn to stitch


How to make:

Cut out two rectangles from the material and stitch them both together on the sides or cut out a long rectangle and fold it and stitch the sides.
Attach the satin ribbons as handle and your Bag is ready.








Let your Child stick what they like on the bag to decorate it or they can even paint on it.

3D Drawing - how to make




What you need:
A4 paper
Pencil
Phone camera


How to make:
On a paper draw n oval ball. Imagine a ray of light is falling on the ball from the left side and accordingly shade it. i.e. darker shadow on the right side of the ball and lighter shadow on the left side of the ball. On the bottom right of the ball, imagining further, draw a little shadow of the ball itself falling on the ground.
Now with a scissors cut out the white paper from the top half of the ball. Your drawing is now ready.
With your phone camera, view the drawing moving the phone around, you will get a 3D effect.

Balloon Bird - how to make

How to make:


Blow up two balloons with a knot. Tie them both together with another knot.
Cut out some eyes, beaks, feathers and legs for the Bird on a paper, colour them and stick it to the balloons with sticky tape or blu tak.
